David Breville founded Athena Fusion Solutions after a career spanning more than four decades in advanced technology, systems engineering, and innovation leadership.
His career began at Hewlett-Packard in technical sales engineering and product management for electronic test equipment. He later transitioned into Department of Defense technology programs, working on product and systems development for complex mission-critical systems.
Over time he served in many roles including technical sales management, product management, marketing management, CEO, CTO, and founder of multiple technology startups, bringing innovations from engineering concept through commercialization.
In recent years his focus has shifted toward healthcare innovation, cancer research, and exercise oncology. As a cancer survivor, David began applying his engineering and AI background to improving survivorship, resilience, and longevity.
Today he works with organizations on AI audits, strategy, and implementation while mentoring through Zero Cancer, contributing to oncology initiatives related to Memorial Sloan Kettering, and advocating evidence-based lifestyle changes that support long-term health and recovery.
A central part of his mission is helping people and organizations understand artificial intelligence and use it effectively—not just as technology, but as a practical tool for solving meaningful real-world problems.
